Business services Free check open · paid pilot waitlist

We watch the settings your business depends on. You get the next step, not the noise.

Start with a free snapshot of your public domain and email-security signals. If monitoring is a good fit and the live delivery gate has passed, Domain Shield checks the agreed baseline daily, reviews meaningful changes and tells you what matters.

Daily checks only after acceptance Next-business-day review You approve every change

Paid activation is not open yet. We will take no setup or monthly payment until provider capacity, scheduled checks, stale-run alerts, customer-alert delivery, reporting and billing linkage have passed live acceptance for your scope.

Your authority matters. We check only a domain you own or are authorised to manage. No login attempts, port scans or private-system access.
The problem is not a lack of dashboards

It is knowing what changed, whether it matters and who owns the response.

Domain Shield is a managed configuration safety net for small businesses without an in-house DNS or email-security specialist.

Email identity weakens

SPF, DKIM or DMARC can be missing, conflicting or changed when a new sending service is added.

Renewals arrive quietly

A missed domain or certificate deadline can interrupt email, websites and customer journeys.

Public records drift

Nameservers, mail routes and security records can change without the person responsible noticing.

Nobody owns the response

A warning is only useful when somebody checks it, explains the risk and gives the business a safe next step.

Available now

Start with a free snapshot of the public record.

With your permission, the site checks publicly visible DNS and registration signals and turns them into a plain-English priority view. Unavailable data is marked unverified rather than guessed. The free check is useful—but it does not watch for tomorrow's changes.

  • Email-security postureSPF and DMARC, plus DKIM when you supply a known selector.
  • Public domain postureMX, DNSSEC, CAA and registration expiry where available.
  • Honest unknownsUnavailable or non-enumerable signals are marked unverified, not passed.
  • A usable reportImmediate on-screen findings plus an emailed copy and practical next steps.
Free check: one point in time

Useful evidence today. No claim that it will still be true tomorrow.

Monitoring fitWhether a changing or business-critical setup justifies ongoing oversight.

Indicative founding fees. Defined work.

Exactly what setup buys—and what continues every month.

The automation is only one part of the service. The fee also pays for a correct baseline, review of meaningful changes, an accountable alert route and safe guidance when action is needed.

Proposed one-off setup£149

Set the watch correctly.

We establish what normal looks like before asking software to spot what changed.

  • Authority check, up to two alert contacts and approval rules
  • Baseline for one primary domain and its standard www hostname
  • Email-platform review and up to three declared sending services
  • Up to two confirmed DKIM selectors for ongoing checks
  • Registrar, DNS host and known renewal details recorded
  • Initial plain-English findings and remediation plan
Setup covers assessment, documentation and the initial plan. DNS edits, migrations and complex remediation are not automatically included.
Proposed managed monitoring£49/month

Keep it watched and understood.

We compare the agreed public signals with your baseline, filter routine noise and explain action-worthy changes.

  • Automated public checks scheduled once every calendar day
  • Change detection for SPF, DMARC, agreed DKIM, MX, nameservers, DNSSEC and CAA
  • Domain registration and agreed certificate-expiry tracking where dates are available
  • Meaningful changes reviewed by the end of the next UK business day
  • Alerts showing the evidence, likely impact and recommended next action
  • Monthly summary, renewal reminders and guided standard remediation
Guided remediation means explaining a standard change, answering reasonable questions and rechecking the public result. We never edit DNS automatically.
Why pay in a quiet month?

Because a snapshot expires the moment somebody changes the setup.

Checks still run, approaching dates stay visible and the monthly report records that the agreed baseline remained unchanged. When something does move, you already have the evidence, contacts and response route in place.

Check my domain first

Indicative founding-pilot price: £149 setup, then £49 per month for each agreed domain. VERSUS VPN LTD is not VAT registered, so VAT is not added to these figures. This is not an offer to buy or a live subscription yet. We issue a written proposal only after the delivery stack and capacity have passed acceptance; that proposal confirms the final scope, price, billing and cancellation before any payment.

How the service is provided

From free check to a live, agreed monitoring baseline.

Nothing silently turns into a subscription. We confirm provider capacity, prove the delivery stack, agree the scope and baseline, test both alert contacts and link verified billing before activation.

  1. 01Run the free check

Get an immediate public-signal snapshot with honest unverified results.

  2. 02We confirm fit

We review authority, complexity and whether ongoing monitoring would add value.

  3. 03Pass the availability gate

We confirm provider capacity and that our runner, alerts, reporting and billing link have passed live acceptance.

  4. 04Receive a written scope

Price, included records, contacts, billing and exclusions are agreed before any payment.

  5. 05Build the baseline

We document the normal configuration, senders, selectors, hosts and renewal dates.

  6. 06Monitoring starts

Daily checks compare the agreed public signals with that approved baseline.

  7. 07Get alerts and evidence

We review meaningful changes, explain the next step and send a monthly summary.

Response commitment

Review and notification by the end of the next UK business day.

Checks are scheduled once per calendar day. A result suggesting a meaningful change is reviewed by the end of the next UK business day; if attention is warranted, we alert the agreed contacts in that same period. UK business hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:30, excluding bank holidays in England and Wales. This is not a 24/7 or resolution-time promise.

Clear limits. No fear selling.

Monitoring reduces blind spots. It does not create a force field.

Domain Shield monitors agreed public configuration and expiry information. It is not a 24/7 security operations centre, emergency incident response, mailbox or endpoint monitoring, penetration testing, compliance certification, legal advice, insurance or a guarantee against fraud, outage or loss. Lookalike-domain discovery and takedown are not included in the founding pilot. Complex remediation and third-party coordination may be quoted separately.

What you are—and are not—paying for.

What is the difference between the free check and monthly monitoring?

The free check is one automated snapshot of the public signals visible now. Monthly monitoring establishes an agreed baseline, checks it daily, identifies meaningful changes and approaching dates, adds VersusVPN review, sends action-focused alerts and provides a monthly evidence summary.

What is included as one domain?

The founding-pilot price covers one primary domain, its standard www hostname, up to three declared email-sending services, up to two known DKIM selectors and two alert contacts. Extra domains, hostnames or unusually complex mail setups are scoped before payment.

What happens in a quiet month?

The checks still run. Your monthly summary confirms what was checked, records any unavailable signals, shows approaching dates and provides evidence that the agreed baseline remained unchanged. The value is continuing visibility and an accountable response when something does change.

How quickly will you alert us?

A result indicating a potentially meaningful change is reviewed by the end of the next UK business day. If attention is warranted, the agreed contacts are alerted within that same period. This is a review-and-notification commitment, not a promise to resolve the underlying issue in that time.

Will VersusVPN change our DNS automatically?

No. We explain standard corrective changes, answer reasonable questions and recheck the public result after your authorised administrator or provider applies it. Migrations, extensive redesign, investigations and repeated third-party coordination may be quoted separately.

Does this include lookalike domains or 24/7 incident response?

No. Lookalike-domain discovery and takedowns are not included in this founding pilot. Domain Shield is also not a 24/7 security operations centre, emergency response service, mailbox or device monitor, penetration test, compliance certificate, legal service or fraud guarantee.

Do we need to tell you about planned changes?

Yes. Tell us before changing email provider, DNS host, registrar, certificate setup, sending services or DKIM selectors. That lets us update the baseline and avoids treating an authorised change as suspicious.

Is there a long contract, and is VAT added?

The proposed founding pilot is month-to-month after setup once paid activation opens. You would be able to cancel before the next renewal, with monitoring continuing to the end of the paid period. The indicative prices currently have no VAT added because VERSUS VPN LTD is not VAT registered. A future written proposal will confirm the final scope, price and billing date before payment.
