Answers without the alphabet soup.

Quick guides for setup, speed and the things VPN apps occasionally decide to be dramatic about.

How do I find the best server?

Open the server list and sort by ping. A lower ping usually means a quicker response from your location. Pick one of the first responsive servers; a 0 ms result generally means the server did not return the test, so try the next one.

How do I connect on Windows?

Install the latest VersusVPN Windows app, sign in using the service credentials from your activation email, choose a location and select Connect. Use the ping button at the bottom of the server list to sort by response time.

How do I connect on Android or Fire TV?

Install the VersusVPN APK, open it and enter your service credentials. Android will ask for permission to create a VPN connection the first time; approve that system prompt, then choose a server and connect.

Can I use a compatible VPN router?

Yes, where the router supports one of the connection methods supplied with your account. Router interfaces differ, so contact support with the exact make and model before changing settings.

What does the kill switch do?

If the VPN connection drops, the kill switch prevents your device from falling straight back to the ordinary public connection. That reduces the chance of traffic leaving outside the encrypted tunnel.

Do you store browsing logs?

VersusVPN does not store browsing history, visited websites, passwords or traffic content. Limited connection information may be processed to run, secure and support the service. Read the privacy policy for the exact wording.
